Have you ever noticed, in movies and TV, that a person will get whacked in the head, be unconscious and have no long lasting effects. How close to reality is that? How about the physical make up of a psychopath's brain? Why do their differences have the effect they have? How does chronic childhood trauma alter the brain's natural development? Do you know about Synesthesia? Could you write a character that can hear color? Taste sounds? Don't write like everyone else. Up your game. I hope we can inspire you to give your readers something different than what they're used to reading.
